The third PvP season of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is now underway! Matchmaking (MMR), Team, and Personal Ratings have been reset and players are once again able to compete in level-85 Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds for the best PvP gear, items, and titles. The 4000-point Honor cap has been restored, and Season 11 Conquest Point and improved Honor Point rewards are now available for purchase.

On December 7, we will open a new Portuguese realm in Europe. On that day, we will welcome many new and returning players and invite them to experience the game in Portuguese (Brazilian). To allow the Portuguese community to gather on one dedicated realm, we will be providing Free Character Migration from realms that have a high population of Portuguese players. If you are on one of the source realms listed below you will be able to move your character to the designated destination realm.

The Hour of Twilight is upon us! Today’s maintenance is over and all the content included in Patch 4.3 is now available. But we have some more news for you: we’re glad to announce that the Portuguese (Brazilian) localization of the game client is now available for your enjoyment!
Patch 4.3 is bringing many gameplay features that have vastly changed the policies our support staff follow when answering your tickets. We wanted to give you a heads-up on what the new features are and how they may affect your characters.

Arena and Rated Battleground Season 10 will have ended as of November 30. We will then determine who is eligible for the end-of-season rewards, a process that should take approximately one week. It's very important for players who feel that they may be eligible for Arena titles and/or the Ruthless Gladiator’s Twilight Drake to refrain from transferring their characters to another realm or faction until Season 10 officially ends after maintenance is finished on November 30. During the break between seasons, all Rated Battleground and Arena matches will be unavailable.
